Lujan de Cuyo and Maipú regions are located in the center area of Mendoza Province at 850 meters above sea level and is a very important wine area since XIX century, where all the inmigrants arrived from Spain, France and mainly Italy where they were established. This areas are very well known as “Primera Zona”, we can say that these regions originally are the best «terroir» for our Malbecs, however, is easy to find all sorts of varietals and the quality is also very high. Uco Valley is located in the central south west area of Mendoza Province at 1100 meters above sea level and is a new wine area, vineyards are younger than other regions and the wines are extremely appreciated by connoisseurs. The landscapes of Uco Valley are gorgeous, the contrast between mountains, vineyards, and the marvelous architecture of the wineries is outstanding. (1h/1:30hs drive from Mendoza)
